Regarding the survival reboot, there is a lot of uncertainty about the version and about the date, I don't know how Dieu is handling this but he only put a poll on the version and 1.8 won, many people voted for this version only for the pvp but they are ignoring to the builders who want the recent versions for greater diversity of blocks and construction ideas, what they can do and what other servers do is use the recent versions keeping the pvp system of 1.8 to favor both types of players, I believe that Dieu should not do surveys since the majority of players on the server do not have the necessary maturity to make a decision of this caliber and it has been seen that it is not always profitable because many servers have died quickly weeks after their restart, Extremecraft has one of the best systems for building and pvp and ignoring that would be detrimental in the future.
