Changing of Leaders

Is it possible for you all to allow changing of leaders to be more convenient such as just directly transferring ownership? It's a little troublesome having to remove everyone from the island except the two just to change a leader? If not, why?

That is not possible due the implementation of the plugin.
We are not running a custom build of it and we can no change this behavior
