A New Server Event- Dungeon Hunt
Dungeon Hunt: A New Server Event Proposal

Introduction

This proposal outlines a novel server event, "Dungeon Hunt," designed to introduce a fresh dynamic to our community's gameplay experience. Currently, many of our boss events primarily emphasize raw damage output, often leading to predictable outcomes. Dungeon Hunt shifts this paradigm, focusing instead on strategic searching, cunning survival, and the thrilling defense of hard-won loot. This event aims to foster a more engaging and interactive environment, encouraging players to think beyond direct combat and embrace a blend of exploration, risk-taking, and player-versus-player (PvP) interaction.

Event Mechanics: The Thrill of the Chase

The Match: A Race Against Time

At designated times, a massive, specially designed dungeon map will become accessible to all eligible players for a strict 15-minute duration. This limited timeframe is crucial, injecting urgency and intensity into every moment of the event.

The Hunt: Elusive Targets

Within this expansive dungeon, three unique "Event Skeletons" will spawn. Crucially, their locations are completely random and hidden, requiring players to actively explore and scour the map rather than relying on fixed spawn points. These aren't ordinary foes; they are the gatekeepers to the event's most coveted rewards.

The Loot: Keys to Victory

Upon the defeat of an Event Skeleton, it will drop one "Event Key." There are only three Event Keys available per event, making them incredibly scarce and highly contested. The acquisition of these keys is the primary objective of the Dungeon Hunt.

The 15-Minute Twist: Survival is Key

Unlike traditional loot drops, merely acquiring an Event Key is not enough. Players cannot simply grab a key and log out or exit the dungeon. Any player in possession of an Event Key must survive within the dungeon until the 15-minute timer expires to successfully claim their prize. This mechanic transforms the event from a simple hunt into a tense game of cat and mouse.

The Risk: High Stakes, High Rewards

Carrying an Event Key comes with significant risk. Once a player picks up a key, they will gain a distinct glowing effect, making them easily identifiable to all other players. Should a key-holder fall in combat, either to another player or a dungeon monster, the Event Key will be dropped on the ground. This creates opportunities for other players to steal the key, adding a thrilling layer of PvP and opportunistic gameplay. This constant threat ensures that even after securing a key, the challenge of survival remains paramount.
