Elytra In Combat

I believe it would be a great improvement to allow us to use elytra’s in combat with some restrictions of course. These restrictions could include height limits, flight range limits, and possibly flight duration limits. This could improve the combat in survival a lot mostly because the only way to use the mace is to wind charge or to wind charge with a spear. Lots of people on the server know how to elytra mace so I hope this gets approved or at least looked at.
