Maces buff or spear nerf

Since there are spears which you can escape 10v1 easy i think they should buff mace damage. Or there should be nerf to spears again. I would personaly do it like elytras that you can use it only when not combat tagged or make it slower or less range that you go. I think this would help the pvp becouse i see lot of people complain about spears overall. Its pointless to fight someone who you know that will escape easily with spear and kills the point of pvping. Thanks.
