OG Server
Hi I just wanted to write this suggestion because I've been hoping that EC would bring back the OG 1.8.9 survival, I and a few others left ec just because it doesn't have 1.8.9 anymore.
I used to spend money on this server only when it had 1.8.9 modes, it could be personal preferences but my brother and me both stopped playing Minecraft because this was the only server we used to play at, and especially that 1.8.9 survival, if it existed I still would be playing (Right Now).
In conclusion, I think brining back the survival 1.8.9 would be a good choice because if we look at statistics, other servers like PikaNetwork has 1.8.9 and there's always 5k+ players playing and the majority of players are in 1.8.9. I think 1.8.9's combat system was loved by people and sometimes people just love simplified version and so I think survival 1.8.9 could be a good move to bring back OG players and having that cash flow
in server again to help support other gamemodes too.
If we were to look back in EC's official discord server's version voting we'd see that people voted more for 1.8.9 survival than the higher version.
It simply means people with low end pc, or those who like simplified versions, and the people who just liked the old combat system (probably a lot in numbers) would be still willing to play if we bring those gamemodes again.
(Just my personal thought: I think 1.8.9 and that "classic gamemodes" slogan at ec banner was one of the key reasons behind the server's success, even when the server was dead for years it still survived and had good amount of people playing on it)
If not atleast try a public poll on discord. Hope it helps the server and I get to play old ec again.
