⚔️ PvP Updates & Version Support Changes

Posted by _OnePro_ 9 months ago

We’ve rolled out some important updates to the PvP side of the server. These changes are designed to make combat smoother, more balanced, and closer to what players expect from competitive play.

🛡️ Kit Updates

All PvP kits have been refreshed to include the new blockhit feature. This applies across the following kits (and their ELO counterparts):

  • Gapple

  • Combo

  • UHC

  • Soup
  • HCF

  • Debuff & NoDebuff

This means players can now blockhit with swords across all these modes, bringing back a familiar combat feel while still maintaining stability on newer versions.

❗ Version Support Changes

As of now, Minecraft 1.8 and all versions below are no longer supported. The lowest version supported is 1.14.

We understand this may be frustrating for some players who preferred 1.8 combat, but this decision was necessary. Legacy versions cause:

  • Frequent bugs and glitches

  • Anti-cheat issues and false detections

  • Compatibility problems with newer mechanics and updates

By moving forward with 1.14 and above, we can provide a more consistent, stable, and fair experience for everyone.

We’ll continue refining knockback and other PvP mechanics to keep improving the gamemode. Your feedback is always welcome as we work to strike the right balance between nostalgia and modern performance.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
