If you don't want to receive notifications, you can mute the server and suppress all @everyone and @here mentions too. If you just want to clear the mentions count, you can mark the server as read.
You can still chat with your friends on Discord in DM, Group DM, or other public and private servers.

Thanks for reminding me you're xNyaEllie for the 1000th time. And there's no way that you discord account "stops working" but you can still login and stuff
